He looked at the broken body of Urynmaal, Warpriest of The Damned. Why had it not dusted yet, as vampire were so keen to do upon death. The horrendous wounds that covered his body made Coil cringe. Such a powerful being to have suffered this much before falling. There were sounds coming from the hallway. The Doom Guards were breaking through the door. Coil detailed six of the soldiers to pick up Urynmaal's corpse, while he began to weave his spells for an exit from this place. The just had to make it to Einar, that was it. Archanis moved his detachment to the front of the hall, ready to attack should the demons appear. Coil let lose a mighty spell, and a portal opened once again. Those with Urynmaal's corpse and the first wave left through it, with what wounded they could carry. Archanis' team pulled back, diving through the portal just as it closed. With his strength near gone, Coil fell through the gateway with them. They appeared in the temple near the City of The Dead. They were back. And it was time to take the Warpriest home.
